Art takes a crash course in science
Wherever you look now, it seems, some theater, opera house, museum or center is mounting a show, series or symposium on the connections between science and art. As science stakes out an ever-widening swath of our collective consciousness, artists across the board are paying closer and closer attention to a way of thinking and imaging they once regarded as alien, impenetrable and irrelevant to their humanistic enterprise.
